Transparency is something Just Engines ZA values highly. It is important to us that our customers understand the terms and conditions that apply when using our services and purchasing our products.

By accessing, registering on, or using the Just Engines ZA website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Legalities

The website justenginesza.co.za (the “Site”) is an automotive shopping website where customers can browse, select, and order engines, spare parts, and other automotive products advertised by Just Engines ZA.

By using the Site, you agree to:

  • Receive communications from Just Engines ZA and its third-party service providers.
  • Accept the use of cookies and similar technologies required for the operation and provision of services through the Site.
  • Allow Just Engines ZA to contact you by telephone or email from time to time regarding incomplete or unconfirmed enquiries submitted through the Site.

Just Engines ZA has taken reasonable care to ensure that information published on the Site is accurate and up to date at the time of publication.

However, Just Engines ZA shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or detriment incurred as a result of reliance placed upon information contained on the Site or its contents.

Just Engines ZA will endeavour to correct any inaccuracies once it becomes aware of them.

All illustrations and photographs displayed on the Site are sample representations of the products advertised. Actual products may vary from the images displayed from time to time.

3. Amendments

Just Engines ZA reserves the right, without prior notice or liability, to:

  • Change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Site.
  • Change or discontinue products available through the Site.
  • Change the hours during which the Site or any of its features are available.
  • Amend prices displayed on the Site.

While Just Engines ZA strives to provide customers with competitive prices, prices may be changed at any time without prior notice.

4. Product Pricing

All prices displayed on the Site are stated in South African Rands (ZAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.

The displayed product price does not include postage or delivery charges. Delivery costs will depend on the destination and applicable delivery requirements.

5. Online Sales

Customers agree to provide true, complete, and accurate information when placing an order or submitting an enquiry, including:

  • Email address.
  • Delivery address.
  • Billing address.
  • Telephone number.
  • Vehicle make, year, and model.
  • Accurate vehicle details and parts descriptions.

Customers are responsible for keeping their personal and delivery information accurate and up to date.

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays in delivering products or, in certain circumstances, non-delivery.

The Just Engines ZA online e-commerce Site is designed to assist customers in identifying the correct vehicle make, year, model, and engine or parts requirements.

Customers purchasing used engines or used parts acknowledge that the condition of used products may vary. Just Engines ZA does not intend to represent or sell a used product as a new product.

6. Accepted Payment Options

Payment may be made using the payment methods made available by Just Engines ZA at the time of purchase.

Bank transfer payments are subject to the funds clearing in the Just Engines ZA bank account.

Banking details will be provided upon request or through approved payment channels.

7. Delivery Policy

Subject to product availability and receipt of payment, orders will generally be processed within 2–3 working days.

Delivery confirmation will be provided by email and/or SMS where applicable.

Deliveries are available within the borders of South Africa only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All parcels will be inspected for damage and photographed before packaging for delivery. This process is intended to ensure that goods are checked and documented before they are dispatched.

Collection Orders — Collection orders are not packaged for self-courier collection. Customers arranging their own courier collection are therefore advised to make use of Just Engines ZA's available delivery options at checkout.

8. Returns and Refunds Policy

Where a product or part has been incorrectly ordered by the customer, Just Engines ZA reserves the right to charge a 20% handling or cancellation fee on returned products.

Refunds will be processed within seven working days from the date on which the returned product is received and approved for refund.

Refund requests must be submitted through the official Just Engines ZA contact details.

The refund request must include:

  • The reason for the return.
  • The customer's order details.
  • The nominated bank account into which the refund should be paid.

9. Customer Privacy Policy

Just Engines ZA shall take reasonable steps to protect the personal information of its users.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African privacy and data-protection legislation.

10. Complaints Resolution Procedure

Customers wishing to lodge a complaint may do so in writing using the official Just Engines ZA contact details.

Complaints should include:

  • The reason for the complaint.
  • The customer's contact name.
  • The customer's contact number.
  • Relevant order or transaction details.

Just Engines ZA aims to deal with complaints within seven working days, after which a return email and/or follow-up telephone call will be made.

11. Intellectual Property

The Site contains copyright material, registered and unregistered trademarks, photographs, logos, graphics, product information, and other intellectual property belonging to Just Engines ZA and various stakeholders (“Intellectual Property Rights”).

Customers and other users of the Site may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise exploit any material, trademarks, names, photographs, logos, or other Intellectual Property Rights appearing on the Site without the prior written permission of the relevant owner.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Just Engines ZA shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits.
  • Loss of reputation.
  • Lost savings.
  • Commercial or economic losses.
  • Loss of goodwill.
  • Indirect damages.
  • Incidental damages.
  • Punitive damages.
  • Special damages.
  • Consequential damages.

Such exclusions apply to losses or damages arising out of or in connection with any agreement, the sale of products or services by Just Engines ZA, or the use thereof, whether such damages are based on delict/tort, warranty, contract, or any other legal theory, even where Just Engines ZA has been advised of, or is aware of, the possibility of such damages.

Just Engines ZA's aggregate and cumulative liability towards the Buyer under any agreement shall not exceed 10% of the value of the related agreement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any claim for damages must be brought by the Buyer within 90 days of the date of the event giving rise to the claim.

Any legal proceedings relating to such a claim must be instituted within one year of the date of the claim.

Any claim or legal proceedings not brought or instituted within the applicable periods stated above shall be considered null and void, subject always to applicable mandatory law.

The limitations and exclusions contained in this Limitation of Liability section shall apply only to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering on, or using the justenginesza.co.za website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Just Engines ZA reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes.
